WILMINGTON, DE (June 7, 2011) - The Riverfront Development Corporation of Delaware announced today that the sounds of live music and family entertainment will return to the Riverfront once again this summer with the 2011 Shipyard Summer Concert Series.  This free concert series begins on July 7^th and is held every Thursday evening until August 25, from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m., under the colored cranes at Dravo Plaza, which is located on Justison Street next to the Shipyard Center.

The schedule of entertainment is:

• July 7 – Voodoo Deville
• July 14 – The Larry Tucker Band
• July 21 – Tony Sands
• July 28 – Karter Jaymes Trio
• August 4 – The Barbone Street Band
• August 11 – Danny Quinn (family night)
• August 18 – Alfie Moss & Dexter Koonce Project
• August 25 – Tim Laushey Orchestra

Concert attendees are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets to enjoy the entertainment.
