DCCA connects with Young Contemporaries
WILMINGTON, Del. --- Where do you go to meet new people, network, have great conversations, wear your Manolo's and talk about contemporary art? At the DCCA with the Young Contemporaries!
On Thursday July 19th, The Young Contemporaries will play host to City Theater Company’s Comedy Improv Troupe. CTC’s funniest folks promise big fun as they serve up goofy games, kick out some uncanny impressions, and do their best to make attendees laugh out loud. Fans of stand-up and shows like Whose Line Is It Anyway are sure to enjoy this raucous good time! The evening kicks off at 5 pm with an hour-long happy hour to mix and mingle, then the hilarious Improv Comedy begins. You need not be a member of the Young Contemporaries to enjoy this exciting evening. You’ll only need a $5 bill.
This new membership group was formed after young professionals discussed having a place to go and meet new people, network for business opportunities and learn about contemporary art. The Young Contemporaries was formed in December 2006 and has had Third Thursdays dedicated to their programs. Members come from Philadelphia, Baltimore and Wilmington.
Monthly activities include gallery openings and talks with artists, programs with other young professional groups, dinners at partnering restaurants, trips to Philadelphia, New York, Baltimore and D.C. Plus, members will receive discounts to events, local businesses and attend Members' Only nights. Annual fees are only $50 for individuals or $80 for couples and include all the benefits of an individual or household membership.
