The Kalmar Nyckel Foundation once again will be hosting the annual King Neptune's Gala at the University and Whist Club on January 26, 2008.

This years Gala is proud to salute Governor Russell W. Peterson, Internationally recognized environmentalist, scientist, public servant and activist as our 2008 "King Neptune Gala" honoree, at which time he will be recognized by the ship's Godmother, Tatiana Copeland.

The University and Whist Club will be entirely devoted to this event that evening. There will be food stations throughout, open bar, dessert buffet, and wine tasting by Bouchaine Vineyards, & valet parking.
