Friends of the Furness Railroad District 100th Anniversary
On July 12, Friends of the Furness Railroad District (FFRD) will be celebrating the end of the 100th year anniversary of the Wilmington Train Station with a progressive dinner throughout the three Furness- designed buildings.
The progressive dinner will feature appetizers and live music from the Philly George Trio at the B & O Water Street Ticket Station at 6 p.m., dinner and live music by Dennis Fortune in the Wilmington Train Station at 7:45 p.m., and dessert and more music from Dennis Fortune at the Pennsylvania Building at 9:15 p.m. An open bar with beer and wine will be available with appetizers and dinner, as well as a silent auction. There will also be free parking.
