The Riverfront Development Corporation of Delaware (RDC) invites you to submit your images to the 2012 Riverfront Wilmington Photo Contest. A panel of judges will select four (4) top finalists and a public voting process will determine a Grand Prize Winner.

The RDC is looking for both scenic photos and photos that include people enjoying activities and places along the Christina Riverfront in Wilmington, Delaware. Entries may be submitted from January 9, 2012 – April 16, 2012. The four (4) finalists will have their photos printed in the June issue of Out & About Magazine. The Grand Prize winner will be announced during the last week of June 2012 and will have his/her photo, along with a brief article, printed in the July 2012 issue of Out & About Magazine.

Guidelines

• The Riverfront Wilmington Photo Contest is open to amateur and professional photographers.
• A panel of judges will review all of the submitted photos and determine the top four (4) finalists.
• All four (4) finalists will receive a Riverfront Wilmington prize package.
• A public voting process will determine who will win from the top four (4) finalists resulting in a Grand Prize winner, second place, third place, and fourth place winners.
• The Grand Prize winner will have his/her photo printed in Out & About Magazine and utilized by the Riverfront Development Corporation of Delaware in future marketing campaigns.
• All photographs must have been taken along the Christina Riverfront in Wilmington, Delaware during the past year (April 16, 2011 – April 16, 2012).
• All images must be submitted by using the photo contest form on our website.
• Images must be in .jpg format, 300 dpi, no larger than 8x10 and no smaller than 4x6.
• Images that are black and white, sepia tone, and duotone will not be eligible.
• All entries must be submitted by the original photographer, and the photographer must have sole ownership of the copyright/rights for the image.
• All entrants must submit a completed, signed Riverfront Development Corporation of Delaware Photo Release Form, and, if applicable, a Riverfront Development Corporation of Delaware Subject in Photo Release Form for each photo submited.

Contest deadlines

• Photos submissions accepted: January 9, 2012 – April 16, 2012
• Finalists announced and public voting begins: June 1, 2012
• Overall winner announced: Week of June 25, 2012
